Housebuilders Sheelin McSharry has applied to south Dublin County Council for alterations to a planning permission for an apartment development planned for the grounds of Bushy Park House, Templeogue.

The application is in line with a condition laid down by An Bord Pleanala when it approved the development of five blocks of apartments in the area last September.

Bushy Park House is a listed structure in the South Dublin County Development Plan and it stands on a prime site of almost four hectares, adjoining Our Lady's School, Templeogue Road.

The application relates to the redesign of blocks E and F which was recommended in condition three of the board's grant of planning permission. The new application for the two four-storey buildings envisages a combined total of 85 apartments with associated landscaped courtyard and private and open space.
