The clinical look is absolutely huge at the moment "so stainless steel products are our absolute bestseller, followed by white tableware", says John Pedreschi, Arnotts' homeware buyer . "There are a lot of young couples with money to spend who want to achieve the whole look and quality is very important to them."
One of the store's bestsellers is the Brabantia stainless steel ironing board; it sells three times as many of them as of its cheaper counterparts.
"It is a very solid board and will last from 20 to 25 years. People are now opting for quality homeware items that last, rather than stuff that will need to be replaced after a few years."
