More than 40,000 sq ft of offices have been let to international companies in the first phase of the Citywest Office Park in west Dublin. The new tenants are paying a rent of around £12.50 per sq ft for space in west Dublin's first dedicated out-of-town corporate office park. Because of the high level of enquiries, Davy Hickey are to proceed with the development of another 45,000 sq ft of offices. The development is being funded by Investment Bank of Ireland.

Canadian telecommunications company Nortel have relocated from St Stephen's Green to a 6,000 sq ft unit at Citywest. The French pharmaceutical company Rhone Poulenc Rorer have taken a 9,000 sq ft building and Millennium Software have leased 6,000 sq ft. The largest letting to date is to US company Iomega Ireland who have expanded from Swords and taken 22,500 sq ft. Jones Lang Wootton had handled the lettings.
