The SieMatic Beaux Art kitchen in the golf course house at Carton is inspired by the 19th century design movement led by a group of American architects who had studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and borrowed elements from different periods.

The kitchen is from Houseworks (01-6769511) and comes in a range of styles. At Carton cashmere-white flamed granite worktops were teamed with magnolia units. The breakfast bar has a thick wenge finish.

A similar sized kitchen with Viking and Gaggenau appliances and baker's rack would cost €75,000 to €125,000.

The bar stools, dining table and chairs are by Rolf Benz, and cost €1,775 each, €4,217, and €1,775 each respectively. All are from Houseworks, which is currently offering a 15 per cent discount.
