Avoca talks

’Growing your own’ & 'fabulous colour and scent'

Food for all senses is the theme of an Avoca series of gardening talks taking place this month. On Tuesday, May 6th, GIY founder and author Michael Kelly will be at the Avoca flagship store in Kilmacanogue, Co Wicklow, to give a talk entitled “Growing your Fruit and Veg for a Healthy, Happy Future”. He will also give this talk on Wednesday, May 21st, at the Avoca store in the recently-restored gardens of Malahide Castle.

On Wednesday, May 7th, and on Tuesday, May 20th, Sean Heffernan, head gardener of Mount Usher (left), will be giving a tour of its wonderful Robinsonian gardens, the topic of which will be “150 Years of Fabulous Colour and Scent”. avoca.ie Fionnuala Fallon
