Dublin 17 from €259,000: The first phase of Clare Village, a development of 350 apartments on the Malahide Road, Dublin 17, will be launched this weekend with a mixture of larger-than-average one, two and three-bedroom apartments on offer.

Selling agent Hamilton Osborne King will be taking bookings on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm. Six fully furnished show units will be open for viewing.

The Albany Homes development is beside the Clare Hall shopping centre which is open 24 hours a day and includes a food court, post office, pharmacy, clothes shops and a Tesco.

In total, it will comprise 350 apartments in six blocks with underground car-parking and a crèche. The first phase will include 100 apartments and would suit buyers looking for something slightly larger than the norm.

One-bed apartments range in size from 56.5-68sq m (609-732sq ft), two-bed apartments range from 64-94sq m (688-1,012sq ft) and three-bed apartments range from 79.6-90.6sq m (856-975sq ft).

First-time buyers and investors will be drawn to the apartments which are reasonably priced in an area that has seen considerable investment in infrastructure over recent years.

Prices start from €259,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, €310,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and €370,000 for a three-bedroom apartment.

The development is beside the Hilton Airport Hotel and a Total Fitness gym with two swimming pools, hydrotherapy and state-of-the-art gym equipment. The Portmarnock Dart station, Dublin Airport and Malahide are also close by. A QBC (quality bus corridor) runs outside the front door and there is easy access to the M50 and M1.
