Annual property professionals’ black tie dinner a sell-out

Up to 1,300 property professionals to attend the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland annual dinner in Dublin

The improving fortunes of the property industry are not yet entirely evident, and it’s unlikely our skylines will be crammed with cranes again anytime soon.

But if the interest shown in this year’s flagship property industry dinner is anything to go by, there’s certainly a renewed confidence in the air.

No less than 1,300 property professionals will attend the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) annual dinner in Dublin this evening – an intimate gathering of the industry’s luminaries at its usual location, the DoubleTree by Hilton, formerly known as the Burlo.

The black tie affair is a calendar must for many in the property and construction sectors, and the SCSI says that such was the interest in this year’s shindig, the society had to stop taking bookings a fortnight ago – something of a first in recent years.
