£800,000 quoted for old-style pub in Kinnegad

Lucan auctioneers McDonald Brothers is quoting a guideline price of £700,000 to £800,000 for Donnelly's Corner House bar, at Kinnegad, Co Westmeath, which is to be auctioned on June 30th. The traditional-style bar has changed little over the years and is being sold following the death of the owner, the late Gerard Kilmartin. The residential premises date from 1903 and include a lounge, bar and grocery/hardware section. There is living accommodation upstairs and several out-offices including an old coach house.
