An Bord Pleanála has given the green light to Hansfield Strategic Development Zone (SDZ) in West Dublin which will ultimately see over 3,000 houses built on a phased basis.
This follows a series of planning delays for the 82-hectare Hansfield SDZ, which was intended to fasttrack the supply of homes. Developers Menolly Homes and Manor Park Homes will be involved in the initial phases. The projected population for Hansfield is 7,000 and the development will see the reopening of the Dublin to Dunboyne rail line.
