Lisney achieved £1.2 million at auction yesterday for a large detached house at 86 Sandford Road. The five-bedroom family house, which has been stylishly refurbished, stands on a quarter of an acre of garden. Also in Ranelagh, a Victorian three-bedroom house at 54 Lower Beechwood Avenue made £315,000 through Hamilton Osborne King.

In Rathmines, 62 Grosvenor Square, a four-bedroom mid-terrace house, fetched £525,000. It was sold by Sherry FitzGerald.

A Victorian three-bedroom semi-detached house at 24 Annesley Park, Rathmines, was sold at auction for £355,000 through Ganly Walters.

Also in Rathmines, 14 Castlewood Avenue, a two-storey over garden level house in five units, was sold after auction for over £300,000 by Douglas Newman Good.

In Terenure, Lisney sold a detached three-bedroom bungalow at 9 Olney Grove after auction for a price believed to be over the guide of £450,000. A six-bedroom semi-detached period house at 324 South Circular Road, Dublin 8, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £247,000.

Dublin 2 and 4

In Ballsbridge, 26 Nutley Avenue, a detached five-bedroom house, fetched £764,000 after auction through Herriott Estates Ltd.

Nearby at 1 Nutley Avenue, a five-bedroom house was withdrawn at £650,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Lisney.

A two-bedroom house at 4 Dodder Terrace, Irishtown, was withdrawn at £155,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Hamilton Osborne King.

A two-storey over garden level four-bedroom house at 66 Tritonville Road, Sandymount, was withdrawn at £550,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Sandymount, a six-bedroom Victorian house at 69 Strand Road was withdrawn at £400,000 by Gunne.

Off Charlemont Place, Dublin 2, Hamilton Osborne King sold 1 Harcourt Mews, a two-bedroom mews house, prior to auction for a figure believed to be over £300,000.

South Dublin

In Killiney, a four-bedroom Victorian villa standing on half an acre, Killiney Lodge, Seafield Road, was sold at auction yesterday for £940,000 through Jackson-Stops McCabe.

In Dalkey, Greylands on Knocknacree Road, a detached five-bedroom house, was withdrawn at £900,000 and is under negotiation through Hamilton Osborne King.

Lisney secured £365,000 at auction for 18 Cunningham Drive, Dalkey, a three-bedroom bungalow. Elsewhere in Dalkey, 66 Castlepark Road, a three-bedroom bungalow, made £360,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Glenageary, a four-bedroom bungalow at 23 Sion Road made £360,000 through Daphne L Kaye & Associates.

A four-bedroom house at 9 Beechwood Grove, Dun Laoghaire, was withdrawn and sold later for about £300,000 by Lisney.

A strong price of £342,000 was achieved at a Lisney auction for 16 Monkstown Road, Monkstown, a three-bedroom semi-detached house.

In Loughlinstown, St Josephs on Cherrywood Road, a four-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn at £360,000 and is under negotiation through Douglas Newman Good.

In Blackrock, 3 Seafield Close, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, fetched £265,000 through Hamilton Osborne King.

Elsewhere in Blackrock a four-bedroom bungalow at 1 Ardagh Grove was sold at a Hamilton Osborne King auction for £221,000.

In Foxrock, 114 South Park, a four-bedroom detached house, made £400,000 at auction through Sherry FitzGerald.

A three-bedroom bungalow at 12 Knocksinna Crescent, Foxrock, was sold prior to auction for over £360,000 by Ross McParland.

Off Brennanstown Road, 52 Lambourne Wood, a six-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn at £500,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Ross McParland.

In Kilternan, 12 Wayside Cottages, a four-roomed cottage on half an acre, made £205,000 through Douglas Newman Good.

Dublin 14 and 16

In Dundrum, Douglas Newman Good fetched a very strong price of £705,000 after auction for 4 Sydenham Road, a two-storey over garden level Victorian house that was withdrawn at £685,000.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 43 Taney Road, Dundrum made £380,000 through Douglas Newman Good.

In Goatstown, 2 Eden Park, a four-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £310,000.

In Dublin 16, The Leap, at Old Bridge Road, Templeogue, a detached four-bedroom house on half an acre, fetched £580,000 through Lisney.

North Dublin

In Malahide, Delmaine, on Dublin Road, a six-bedroom detached Edwardian house on half an acre, was withdrawn at £890,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Lisney.

Elsewhere in north Dublin, a very strong price was achieved in Castleknock, Dublin 15, when Arranbank on the Castleknock Road, a detached house on a third of an acre, was sold at auction yesterday for £875,000 by Jackson-Stops McCabe - almost £300,000 over the guide price.

In Howth, Co Dublin, 6 Casana View, a detached four-bedroom house off Thormanby Road, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good which is quoting £320,000.

Sherry FitzGerald fetched an exceptionally strong price of £715,000 at auction for Ranworth at 17C Greenfield Road, Sutton, Dublin 13, a four-bedroom Victorian semi-detached house with access to the sea. Sherry FitzGerald secured £223,000 at auction for 47 Abbeyfield, Killester, Dublin 5, a detached three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow. St Mary's at 1 Calderwood Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9, a semi-detached house, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Billy O'Sullivan.

In Dublin 7, David Gill & Associates fetched £485,000 at auction for St Colman's at 241 New Cabra Road, a five-bedroom detached house. A three-bedroom end of terrace house at 1 Glenbeigh Park, Cabra, made £192,000 through Gunne. A refurbished two-storey over garden level period house, Glenside, at 267 North Circular Road made £437,500 through Mason Estates.

A four-bedroom mid-terraced house at 13 Rathdown Road, Phibsboro, was sold at auction for £332,000 by Gunne.

Meanwhile off Mountjoy Street, Phibsboro, Dublin 7, a Victorian three-bedroom house at 44 Fontenoy Street was withdrawn at £165,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Douglas Newman Good.

On Blackhorse Avenue, 6 St Vincent's Cottages, a three-bedroom terraced house in need of updating, made £130,000 through GWD.

A four-bedroom dormer bungalow at 20 Longlands, Swords, made £264,000 through Morton Flanagan.

In Oldtown, Co. Dublin, The Haven, on O'Briens Lane, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is quoting £290,000.

Wicklow

In Bray, a three-bedroom dormer bungalow, Mountain View, at Rynville Manor, Killarney Road, was withdrawn by H J Byrne, which is quoting £225,000.

Ross McParland is seeking £440,000 for The Glen on Portland Road, The Burnaby, Greystones, a detached four-bedroom dormer bungalow, following its withdrawal from auction.

Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £375,000 for Glasheen, Rocky Valley, Kilmacanogue, a six-bedroom bungalow, following its withdrawal from auction.

A three-bedroom bungalow on an acre, Castlekevin Lodge in Annamoe, was withdrawn at £200,000 by Hamilton Osborne King, which is quoting £250,000.

In Ashford, Ballymacahara, a detached dormer four-bedroom bungalow, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops McCabe, which is quoting £210,000-plus.

A four-bedroom bungalow at 6 Glenbrook Park, Delgany, made £362,000 through Lisney.

A five-bedroom bungalow on 1.25 acres, The Beeches, at Valleymount, was withdrawn by Ganly Walters, which is quoting £300,000.

Provincial

A 33.5-ACRE non-residential farm at Cork Road, Waterford, sold at auction for £1.1 million through John Rohan.

A two-storey three-bedroom cottage at 2 Temple Mills, Celbridge, Co Kildare, was sold prior to auction for well over the guide price of £145,000 by Douglas Newman Good.

In Co Meath, a three-bedroom detached house, Highfield House in Laytown, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Douglas Newman Good.

A 49-acre non-residential farm at Castlerickard, Longwood, was sold at auction for £175,000 through Raymond Potterton.

Also in Co. Meath, the T E Potterton agency sold two parcels of land: 11 acres at Hospital Lands, Athboy, sold for £31,000 while 9.5 acres with a derelict cottage at Pluckstown, Athboy made £61,500.

Meanwhile a 26-acre non-residential farm at Tymoole, Rathfeigh, Co. Meath was sold at auction for £206,000 through Ronald Duff.

In Co. Kildare, a four-bedroom bungalow on 0.5 acres at Rathmore, Naas, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £290,000.

A six-bedroom detached house, Church View on Bishopgate Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, was sold at auction for £280,000 by Murtagh Bros.

Commercial

Finnegan Menton achieved £830,000 at auction for 1 Kingram Place, off Fitzwilliam Place in Dublin 2, a 2,110 sq.-ft mews office building.

In Rathmines, a three-storey over basement 2,415-sq-ft Georgian house with development potential at 177 Lr Rathmines Road was sold at auction for £700,000 by O'Connor Shannon.

In Ballsbridge, a 20-bedroom hotel, The Roxford Lodge Hotel at 46 Northumberland Road, was withdrawn at £2.6 million and is under negotiation through Gunne. A site with planning permission for two bungalows at O'Hanlons Lane, Malahide, made £447,000 through Gunne.

A 17-bedroom guest-house, St Andrews Guest House at 1 Lambay Road, Drumcondra, was withdrawn at £900,000 by Mason Estates, which is quoting £1 million.

In Co. Meath, The Coffee Dock leasehold coffee shop/restaurant in Navan, was sold at auction for £51,000 by Raymond Potterton.

A commercial/residential property at Main Street, Sallins, Co. Kildare was sold at auction for £180,000 by Ferris O'Reilly.

In Waterford, Lonergans public house and bed & breakfast was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Purcell Properties.
