Food film festival in Co Meath

Gafa Bites is a mini film festival taking place on Sunday May 24th in Co Meath offering a feast of short films on a whole range of topics – such as innovative solutions to food scarcity, urban beekeeping in Hong Kong and sourdough bread-making as community development tool in rural Scotland. All good as long as there are delicious bites to satiate the inevitable hunger pangs.

Fortunately, the mini festival is part of Sheridan Cheesemonger's annual Food Festival held in their Victorian warehouses between Kells and Virginia, so expect 90 food stalls offering heirloom veg, local fruit juices, sourdough breads, organic heritage-breed burgers and more cheeses than you could possibly conceive of. sheridanscheesemongers.com
