If you are on the hunt for a cream that will give you an advanced exfoliation and reveal brighter, fresher skin then your search ends here. This is a concentrated cream with a high strength AHA (Polyhydroxy acid) of 12% so don’t go near it if you have very dry or sensitive skin. Mature and dull skin will benefit and this pack also contains two mini glycolic cleansers.

Shiseido Future Solutions Replenishing Treatment Oil €135

This oil sinks in easily and instantly makes skin feel more supple and refreshed. I have discovered that it also works wonders on hands so rub the excess from your facial application into your paws . Smelling delicious, it is a blend of several different oils including evening primrose, jojoba, argan and Japanese yuzu oil. Thirsty skin will soak it up and ask for more.

This is a fine, almost translucent base that instantly adds sheen and glow to the skin. If you have good skin you will enjoy wearing it alone to enhance your complexion; as it is water based it will increase hydration. I like it mixed with foundation to increase light and reflection - something we dearly need at this time of year.

NYC Lovatics by Demi €6.99

These 12 shade palettes in four different colourways have good pigmentation and are a nice low cost choice if you like to experiment. From the vibrant City Nights palette (my favourite) to the dusky Night Out option and the obligatory Natural palette there really is one for everyone in the audience.
