This dress by 22-year-old Adam Henderson from Rathgar is part of a capsule collection that has earned him the coveted €3,500 River Island Fashion Design Bursary and a three-month paid internship with the company in London.

The submitted designs from 15 graduates were judged by River Island design controller, Dubliner Lucy Moller, who was the 2006 winner of the bursary.

The winning dress by Henderson, a final-year fashion student in NCAD, was in tulle using 3D fabrication and laser cutting with a detachable utility clutch and front-facing floral pockets.
