TODAY: Musos should try to get up before noon this morning and head to Oxfamhome in Dublin, where the country's biggest ever vinyl record sale is taking place. The sounds - up to 25,000 records spanning five decades - were donated by Downtown Records in Belfast and all funds raised will go towards the charity's ongoing work in East and Central Africa. TOMORROW: Celebrate World Refugee Day at a cultural evening organised by the Vincentians' Refugee Centre's Women's Group. There will be dance, a fashion show, African food and drama from 4 p.m. at St Peter's Hall, St Peter's Road, Phibsboro, Dublin 7. Contact: 01-8510840.

MONDAY: It's four years since Des Keogh and Rosaleen Linehan took to the boards for their last revue which was seen by 40,000 people. TUESDAY: It's hard to believe San Francisco's Counting Crows started off just over 10 years ago as an acoustic duo. WEDNESDAY: French artist Sophie Calle has never exhibited in Ireland before so her first show at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, opening today, is eagerly awaited. Her work takes the form of photographic installations which have an intriguing narrative approach. The exhibition is organised by the Pompidou Centre in Paris and continues until July 15th. THURSDAY: For more than 25 years the Kildare Derby Festival has been getting locals in the mood for the big race in the Curragh at the weekend with music and craic all over town. Tonight sees the grand opening of the Budweiser Marquee at the Silken Thomas pub with music by the Sons of Erin. 8 p.m. Admission 10. Details of other events from the festival office on 045-521000.

FRIDAY: The Banbridge Buskfest will see buskers of all shapes, sizes and talents heading to the Co Down town today and tomorrow in the hopes of grabbing the £1,000 first prize or the £500 junior prize for under 16s.
