Wear It Out: Stepping out with a denim obsession

This week we chat with the lovely Grainne Binns. Grainne has always had a strong interest in fashion and was very involved in the DCU fashion show. Always trying new things and new styles, Grainne’s look is ever-changing. Today she shares her style secrets on this particular look which is great for a weekend out shopping in town.

Tell us about your outfit?

My jacket is from Zara, I love it because it can be dressy and casual and it’s really unique. I’m loving denim at the moment so when I found this coat I knew I had to grab it straight away! It was €75.

My white top is from Asos by the brand Reclaimed Vintage, I love it because it can be worn in so many different styles and look like a completely different top depending on how I style it. It was €30.

My denim top is from Urban Outfitters. It’s so comfortable and I love the different shades of denim. I am noticing my own denim obsession now! It was €20 in the sale.

My jeans are from Asos they’re super handy for college and lazy days but can be dressed up to wear out also. I love getting a piece of clothing like this that is so versatile. They were €35.

My shoes are Reebok Classics. I am constantly running around so need something comfy. They go with everything and I can’t stop wearing them! I got them on Depop which is a great app for picking up little bits for great prices. They were €30.

My bag is from Urban Outfitters I use it for everything – it contains my entire life. It was €20.

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style is quite versatile. I don’t really stick to one kind of style or trend, I just wear what I think looks good. I love to mix vintage with high street fashion. I love to try different things and try to push myself out of my comfort zone style wise.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?

I’m really looking forward to festivals this summer I plan on going to a few, I love the freedom of festival fashion and make up!
