Dr Patricia Donlon is beating a path into The Word Garden today at The Ark, Temple Bar's Cultural Centre for Children. Over the next 18 days, the entire building will be transformed by seven enormous poetry trees, designed to celebrate the power of the word: from scrabble to storytelling, from calligraphy to graffiti. Performances, workshops, a Tree Trail and a Word Walk will introduce school groups to all kinds of word play.
