Villagers go to Domino

Critically-acclaimed Dublin band Villagers have become the first Irish band to sign to prestigious indie label Domino Records.

Although the band - led by ex-Immediate man Conor O'Brien - are keeping schtum on the deal until it's finalised, it's rumoured that the London-based label picked up the band for the release of their debut album, due in 2010. A vinyl single is set for release on October 17th.
