Madagascar: Escape 2 Africais about four animals who have escaped from their zoo in New York and wind up in the middle of Africa. During their time there they begin to fit in and do not want to go back to the zoo, where they entertained the New Yorkers. But after they are in Africa for a while, a series of problems arise.

Alex the lion is banished from his long-lost father's tribe, while Melman the giraffe is cursed with the witch doctor's disease. Meanwhile, Marty the zebra feels he is not unique. During all that, Gloria the hippo is on top of the world with her new boyfriend Moto Moto.

I think this is a great sequel and even better than the first movie, and is great entertainment for families with small children. The script is really funny, with great lines, which makes it a must see movie for kids from two to 12.

The storyline is really easy to follow and the actors voices are perfect for the characters. My favourite character is King Julian because he is so funny, his voice is really good and he is full of enthusiasm.

I really enjoyed this film so I gave it four stars.
