The People's verdict

Claire Plunkett (17), Co Leitrim "It has been brilliant

Claire Plunkett (17), Co Leitrim"It has been brilliant. The campsite is a bit messy but I've been getting plenty of sleep so it's been grand."

Cormac Molloy (18), Templeogue, Dublin"I didn't get to see all the bands I wanted to see and the ones I did were very disappointing, especially The Prodigy. The sound was terrible and they really dragged out their songs."

Aoife Fox (17), Co Leitrim"It has been totally different. When I came on the first day and had to drag my tent and bags it was hard but overall it has definitely been worth it. It's mammy's money, but I think it's money well spent."

Ronan Monahan (26), Co Wicklow"I've been to Oxegen five times now and Witnness before that, but I'm not able for the full weekend anymore, it's a bit hectic. When you wake up on Monday morning and you can't take that day off because of work and responsibility, you realise you're not able for it."

Diarmuid Johnson (30), Ranelagh, Dublin"Most years I managed to sort out hospitality passes but this year I left it too late so I'm slumming it now, but it has been good so far. I think the atmosphere in general hasn't been good compared to other years, but I'm only here to see two bands, Rage Against the Machine and Kings of Leon."

Terry McClain (27), Omagh"The weather has been a big improvement on last year. A lot of my friends decided not to come because it was so muddy last time. The camping hasn't been too bad. We forgot the pegs for our tent, but we've managed to get over it."

Michelle MacNamee (28), Omagh"The weekend has been very good. I've seen a lot of bands so far and we're just having a wee downer now before we head off to see a few more. The Kings of Leon were great and I'm really looking forward to seeing more before the weekend is over."

Laura McCann (18), Belfast"It has been a really good weekend and I think Calvin Harris has been the highlight so far. Somebody jumped on our tent in the campsite last night when we were in it, which was really bad - the whole right side caved in. It was terrible."

Liam Galvin (21), Co Kerry"It has been very good, the weather has helped a lot - it was so wet last year but this is way better. The Kings of Leon have been a highlight. They played everything I wanted to hear. It was unbelievable."
