SOUNDTRACK
Clint Mansell
National Concert Hall Dublin 8pm nch.ie
Acclaimed contemporary film soundtrack composer Clint Mansell (right) has certainly a long way away from his time in Grebo rock band, Pop Will Eat Itself. What to expect? Selections from his work with film directors Darren Aronofsky and Duncan Jones. TCL

THEATRE
La Reine Claude
Project Arts Centre 6pm dublintheatrefestival.com
What happens if you get 10 of the best playwrights around to work on a new play? Just three weeks ago, The Irish Times and Dublin Theatre Festival decided to find out, and devised The Arc. Tom Murphy began the project with a short scene, and we asked nine other playwrights to follow, one after the other. Sonya Kelly, Deirdre Kinahan, Enda Walsh, Bush Moukarzel, Brokentalkers, Stacey Gregg, Michael West, Genevieve Hulme-Beaman and Kate Heffernan have all pitched in. Annabelle Comyn will direct a rehearsed reading of the Frankenstein script, with a top-billing cast of Niamh McCann, Kate Stanley Brennan and Declan Conlon.
