Solitaire diamond ring is sold for Pounds 14,000

A SOLITAIRE diamond ring of just over three carats fetched Pounds 14,000 at O'Reilly's recent sale of jewellery. In the same sale a 2.5 carat Edwardian solitaire in a platinum setting fetched Pounds 4,400; a large diamond cluster ring, with a 2ct diamond at its centre, sold for Pounds 3,300; a Victorian five-stone diamond ring sold for Pounds 1,600; and an art deco diamond ring, with the three centre stones totalling 1.5cts, fetched Pounds 1,450.
