A lot has changed since Seefeel began doing the rounds in the 1990s. Back then they mixed blissed-out rock and electronics to fine effect and, as the first guitar band to sign to Warp, helped bring a new sensibility to the electronic scene.

Some 15 years on from their last album, Seefeel have returned with a self-titled new one, a change in sound and some new personnel – Shigeru Ishihara (aka DJ Scotch Egg) and Boredoms drummer Iida Kazuhisa, who add an intensity and twitchy toughness to the Seefeel palette. The first run- out for the reconfigured band, in Paris, demonstrated that the new direction was one worth running with, hence the current batch of shows.

Support from VisionAir, the new synth project from Redneck Manifesto’s Richie “Jape” Egan and Niall Byrne.
