ANYONE hoping to have heard Vladimir Ashkenazy at the NCH last February and reluctant to wait for the re-scheduled conceit next January can catch up with the Russian pianist within the next 10 days, writes Michael Dervan. For £25, the Limerick Music Association is offering an all in coach trip from Dublin for Ashkenazy's Limerick concert on Saturday 17th.

Concert tickets alone can be obtained for £15 or £10; contact 01 287 3313 for details. And Ashkenazy plays in Waterford on Sunday 18th, with ticket prices of £20. His NCH concert, promoted by the State subsidised hall itself, had prices going up to £32.
