Readers keen to experience fits of the vapours will find plenty of scandalous material at the third Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, which runs from February 11th to February 20th.

Michael Winterbottom's Nine Songs, in which Kieran O'Brien, a festival guest, has actual, bona fide sex with his co-star Margot Stilley, is just one of more than 90 films scheduled to screen during the event. Punters can also swoon at Oliver Hirschbiegel's The Downfall, which dares to humanise Hitler, and Todd Solondz's Palindromes, which, aside from being about abortion is, well, a Todd Solondz film. Other confirmed titles include Bill Condon's Kinsey, Woody Allen's Melinda and Melinda and Wes Anderson's The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. Check out www.dubliniff.com.
