Partners' desk sells for Pounds 3,700

ADAMS of Blackrock have reported strong results from its sale on January 16th.sold for Pounds 3,700.

A Victorian mahogany extending dining table sold for Pounds 1,200; a set of eight Sheraton revival dining chairs also made Pounds 1,200, while a pair of mid 19th century mahogany hall chairs with shamrock shaped backs achieved a strong price of Pounds 800 under the hammer.

The auction included some good pieces of silver and jewellery, including an Art Deco platinum ring set with a 1ct diamond surrounded by diamonds. It sold for Pounds 1,900.
