EUROAFRICA Shipping Lines Co Ltd has been offering a fortnightly service from Dublin to Poland for the past 40 years. Represented in Ireland by RA Burke, the company's 4,500 tonne combination vessel, the Wejherowo, makes a triangular trip from Dublin to Szczecin in the north of Poland, coming back via Helsingborg in Sweden.
Catering for both traditional break bulk and containerised cargo, the vessel can facilitate a stop off at Rotterdam if required. According to Michael McIntyre, managing director of RA Burke, the route to Poland is a growing one. EuroAfrica complements RA Burke's wide portfolio of shipping companies which offer global coverage to Irish importers and exporters, he says.
