A recently-returned emigrant commented how surprised she was that so many Irish women appeared to have returned to their Viking origins.

Her remark arose because almost everyone she met here had somehow acquired hair of Scandinavian blondeness. The outcome: blonde now equals bland. Suddenly the Irish brunette is an endangered (but refreshingly different) species. So, we say, no more blondes. Return to your follicular roots and stand out from the golden-tressed masses.
