The scoop on Sligo

Folk, trad, roots and indie music festival Sligo Live takes place in the west coast town next week.

This year’s programme runs from gigs by Van Morrison and Joan Armatrading to trad sessions in local pubs. The festival will also host the World Air Fiddle Championships, a special showcase of London-Irish music, and an Industry Day for musicians who want the inside scoop on touring
