When producer Michael Reilly first headed to deepest Mississippi in 2006, he came away with a compilation of local gospel singers called Como Now. Reilly's trip (a tribute to Alan Lomax, who had made the same journey years earlier) also uncovered three stars in the making in the shape of two sisters and their cousin who make up The Como Mamas. Ester Mae Smith, Angela Taylor and Della Daniels are gospel singers in the truest sense, singing, hollering and testifying with pride and devotion.
