Touted as a kind of disco Adele, Betsy has an enchantingly deep voice that is perfect for heartbreak-on-the-dancefloor bangers. In Waiting, Betsy mournfully sings that she'll "wait forever for you", while dancing around her handbag to kill time. Think of Operator by Låpsley, and you're on the right track.

Hero of the week is Leigh-Anne from Little Mix. She told Wonderland magazine: "I think with us, we love to just wear what we want to wear. When we feel comfortable on stage, we're not really interested in the negative comments that people are saying about them being provocative. I don't even think they're that provocative, if I'm honest . . . We are all so body-confident now and that has taken a lot of time to build and the fact that we are, I think that's an amazing thing, and we want to encourage our fans and everyone to be exactly the same way – wear what you want and be comfortable in it and sod what everyone else thinks."

Meanwhile, in pop fact news, the video to Zayn and Taylor Swift's collab I Don't Wanna Live Forever was shot at the same hotel as The Spice Girls' Wannabe (the St Pancras Renaissance in London). We like to think of it as a timeline of a relationship, from start to finish.

Zero of the week is fomo, according to Drake. He told the Coach Cal podcast: "My biggest fear is always when I'm not doing it, there's someone else that's doing it. That's my biggest fear in life. When I'm not doing it. When I take a night off for my personal life. When I choose to decompress or relax . . . not in the back of my mind, in the front of my mind, my biggest fear is if somebody's not relaxing right now and they're going to stumble upon something. When you get in the studio you have these moments that ultimately propel your career, you have to ask yourself how many of those did I miss by not going in on this given night or that given night."
