While other festivals may be battening down the hatches this year, Planetlove is in an expansionist frame of mind. For its 12th outing the festival moves to a new site and adds an extra day, making it 70 acts knocking out various shades of dance music over 10 stages all weekend.

Naturally, you’ve got a plethora of clubbing royalty and bold-face names such as Fatboy Slim (his third big Irish gig of the year); Kaskade (below, one of the most in-demand pop remixers of the moment); Rev Run (hopefully it will be more of the Run DMC dude and less of the reality TV star); plus Mauro Picotto, Calvin Harris, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Eddie Halliwell and many others.

Aside from these attractions, Planetlove will also have room on the bill for rising Irish DJ John O’Callaghan, New York party jock DJ Berrie and London electropop rapper Example.
