MUSIC NEWS:New music fan/networking site Boost The Music is offering to sponsor up to five Irish bands or artists to travel to next year's SxSW showcase festival in Texas.
To be eligible, the musicians must register with the site, set up a profile and generate a certain number of "points" in a variety of different ways. The winning acts will have their accommodation, transport and festival passes paid for. See boostthemusic.com
