Byrne gets RTÉ CO gig

The RTÉ Concert Orchestra has appointed Brian Byrne as its first artist-in-residence in its 65-year history. The LA- based Navan man has worked with everyone from Bono to Barbra Streisand, and most recently enjoyed success with his Golden Globe-nominated score to the film Albert Nobbs, which was recorded with the orchestra in RTÉ’s radio centre.
