Forbidden Fruit 2024: Day-by-day breakdown and new acts revealed

Paris Texas, Gemma Dunleavy, Flowdan and more to play at Royal Hospital Kilmainham in June

With just eight weeks to go until this year’s Forbidden Fruit Festival, an extended line-up has been announced including Californian hip hop duo Paris Texas, Gemma Dunleavy, Flowdan and more.

The festival, which returns to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin, is set to take place on Saturday, June 1st, and Sunday, June 2nd.

Twenty-three years since she last graced Irish shores, Nelly Furtado is set to headline on Sunday while Belfast’s Bicep for will fill the same spot on Saturday.

Flowdan, who made history as the first UK MC to win a Grammy for his collaboration Rumble with Fred Again and Skrillex, will be joined on Sunday by Neffa-T.

Other acts announced include music collective Infinity Song, making their Irish debut, Interplanetary Criminal and DJ Boring.

A string of Irish acts set to play the 2FM Rising stage have also been announced, including Big Sleep, Brad Heidi, Chubby Cat and Jordan Adetunji – all chosen by a panel of experts for their representation of Irish music. They will be joined by Qbanaa, Saibh Skelly, Shee, Sick Love, Strabe and The Cope.

The remaining weekend tickets, as well as day tickets for the festival, are due to go on sale on Monday at 9am through Ticketmaster.

Remaining weekend tickets are priced between €155-€175 while day tickets are priced from €79.50-€99.50.
