Leonard leads in Illinois

JUSTIN LEONARD carded an eight under par 64 to take a two-stroke lead after the second round of the Western Open in Lemont, Illinois.

Leonard posted a nine under 135 halfway total to lead by two strokes from fellow Americans Billy Andrade, Mike Hulbert and Michael Bradley.

First round leader Mark O'Meara bogeyed the first three holes but recovered to remain in the hunt, four strokes off the lead in a group that included Tiger Woods, who shot a 72.
