Is she a pop star or an art project? A valid contender for the throne of Madonna or just a wannabe with outlandish dress sense and a taste for sipping tea from bone china cups? Following her triple victory in this week's Brit Awards where she walzed away with the gongs for best international solo artist, best international breakthrough and best international album for The Fame, she's certainly putting it up to Madge.

And there's little doubt that if she continues to deliver songs as invincible as Poker Face, Paparazzi, Lovegame and Summerboy, it won't be long before she becomes part of the chintzy furniture.

Perhaps she’ll be too skittish, too ambitious to want that, though? Best go with the flow, then, for the moment – with this one, we’re not sure what she’ll get up to next.
