HP NEWSLETTER COMPETITION:It's been a close-run competition, but the results are in, and one school in Tipperary has reason to jump for joy
CONGRATULATIONS TO everyone who took part in the HP Newsletter competition. For its first year the response was amazing, as was the standard of entries. Sadly, however, there must be a winner and the lucky ones will be getting the latest, high-tech HP kit for their schools, including laptops and printers.
In the primary category, first prize was awarded to sixth class from Scoil Ursaile Naofa, Two Mile House, Naas, Co Kildare for their paper Halloween at the House. Second place went to first year students at St John Bosco community college, Kildysart, Ennis, Co Clare for their paper Bosco Buzz.
The secondary senior category winner was fourth year from Coláiste Treasa, Kanturk, Co Cork for their paper Phoenix Times. The overall winner was second year from Loreto secondary school, Coleville Road, Clonmel, Co Tipperary for their paper Vitality. Not only will the girls from Loreto be receiving loads of new HP gear for their school, they will also be going on a guided tour of the Irish Timesnewsroom.
