We had loads of entries to our film-reviewing competition. We'll publish the reviews by the three winners next week; they are: Conor Lavelle, Navan, Co Meath; Catherine Daly, Clonsilla, Dublin, and Jessica Regan, Clonmel, Co Tipperary. They have each won one-week work placements in The Irish Times and tickets for an entire class group to a workshop at the Junior Dublin Film Festival. One workshop will feature veteran director John Boorman.
The three runners-up are Laura Nagle, Kilkenny; Keith Reilly, Drogheda, Co Louth, and Catherine Hannon, from somewhere on the Internet! They have each won a family ticket to any film at the Junior Dublin Film Festival , which runs at several venues from next Sunday, November 23rd, to Friday, December 4th, featuring great films for young people from around the world.
