CAMOGIE: THE CAMOGIE association aims to have more than 60,000 people at the 2015 All-Ireland camogie finals and to increase its membership base by 40 per cent over the next five years.

Speaking this weekend at the association’s national congress in Kildare, president Joan O’Flynn described the goals, which are part of the association’s national development plan as “achievable and realistic”, but she stressed it would require all elements of the organisation working in tandem in order to achieve this.

Our Game, Our Passion, the camogie association national development plan 2010-2015 was unveiled to over 150 delegates Saturday afternoon. President of the GAA Christy Cooney also addressed the gathering and highlighted the strong and vibrant working relationship between both associations.
