The latest add-on from EA for Fifa 10, Ultimate Teamputs you in complete control building your very own dream team. You start off with a starter pack of cards, chosen at random by the game on your behalf, and a pathetically low stash of coins to buy new ones. Win games to earn more coins so you can buy better players in live online auctions against other gamers.

Cleverly, it’s not all about getting the top strikers and defenders. Chemistry is important; how your players work with each other will affect your score. Put them in the right positions or team them up with players that they’re used to working with to boost your score. Players are split into three categories (gold, silver and bronze) with accordingly rated price tags. You can also buy items such as club kit, training and injury healing.

As add-ons go, Ultimate Teamis up there with the best. Graphics also seem a bit more fluid than the main game, with faster gameplay.
