Available for Android and iOS, Clikturns your phone into a YouTube remote to control your browser. All you have to do is download the app, navigate to the company's website clikthis.comand scan a code displayed with your phone. You can browse the videos on your phone, choose the one you want to play, and it's displayed on your PC. All that's required is a data connection for the phone and an internet-enabled browser. Multiple phones can use a single monitor. You don't need any extra hardware, and it can be done in a matter of seconds. But you need to have Flash on your monitor, and it won't work with tablets at the moment. Clikhas the potential to go much further than your computer though, with the app developers – those responsible for instant messaging programme Kik – eyeing the potential for applications other than YouTube. In fact, Clikis billed as "smart TV" platform, which should give you a clue as to where this is heading. As long as have a Flash-enabled browser, you can access the service.
