Around 50 dealers from all over the State will be exhibiting this Sunday at a fair in the Stand House Hotel at the Curragh. This is a new venue for fair organiser Joan Murray, who expects the 6,000 square feet of exhibition space to attract many people. Stand-holders will include Moycullen Antiques, which will have some good 19th century furniture and mirrors on offer; Ron Kelly will have a selection of Irish and English Georgian silver; John Airey of Mortimers Collectables will have a large collection of silver and gold Swiss and American watches for sale; and Leo Monaghan will be specialising in old advertising and pub memorabilia, including a 1920s cash register and an Edwardian magic lantern. The fair starts at noon and will run until 7p.m.
