Bunratty event to draw 25 dealers

AN antiques fair in aid of the Shannon and District Lions Club is being held tomorrow at the Fitzpatrick's Shannon Shamrock Hotel, Bunratty, Co Clare. Some 25 dealers are expected to take stands at this event, which opens to the public at 11 a.m.

Free valuation service for coins and medals

Doors open at 10.30 a.m. for tomorrow's antiques and collectors fair in the Old Coach House at Dublin Castle. Along with the many items for sale, there will be a free valuation service for coins and medals.

First editions by Joyce and Yeats at Dalkey

A BOOK fair is being held tomorrow from 11 a.m. at Dalkey's the New Heritage Centre in Dalkey, Co Dublin. First editions by Irish authors, including Joyce, Yeats and O'Brien, are promised, as well as a large selection of general interest works.

Pictures, furniture among items in Dublin fair

Furniture, pictures, porcelain and glass, silver, jewellery, linens and clocks will be on offer at tomorrow's antiques collectors' fair in the Doyle Tara Hotel, Dublin. The event opens to the public at 10 a.m.

19th-century botanical prints at Newman House

THE Newman House antiques fair, to be held in Dublin tomorrow from 11 a.m., includes a stand taken by Patricia Burns, who is offering framed 19th-century botanical prints. Cains Fine Art will be stocking 19th and early 20th- century watercolours. Other dealers will have antique silver, Victorian and Edwardian table linen, jewellery, porcelain and small items of furniture.
