Major productions continue to shoot in Ireland. This week, filming begins on Neverland, a prequel to the Peter Pan story.

Produced by Parallel Films in collaboration with Sky Movies HD, the two-part production stars Rhys Ifans as a young Captain Hook and Bob Hoskins as – memories of Steven Spielberg's dodgy Hook– the bumbling Mr Smee. Hang on. Hoskins as Smee in a prequel to Peter Pan? Won't he be a bit old? Anyway, distinguished domestic personnel such as cinematographer Seamus Deasy and costumer designer Emer Ní Mhaoldomhnaigh are on board.
