Having breathed sighs of relief that Sex and the City 3has been put on hold, sensible movie fans now face another terrifying prospect: Bridget Jones 3. Renée Zellweger had said she was reluctant to pile on weight a third time, but it seems as if the producers might launch a thin Bridget.

A “source” stated: “Renée had no reservations about saying yes once she found out she wouldn’t have to get fat. She hated having to do that in the last two films.”

A thin Bridget Jones? Why not a mild-mannered Godzilla?
