The fifth Kinopolis Polish Film Festival will kick off in Dublin on Wednesday. The event, which will be spread across Cineworld, Filmbase and D-Light Studios, will present more than 20 titles and welcome a select handful of special guests.

“While putting together the festival programme, we try to evoke the best traditions of Polish film production,” said Klementyna Kasprzyk- Kucharz, the festival’s co-ordinator. “By the choice of repertoire we are aiming at depicting the current situation in Poland, together with its cultural identity and social problems.

"This year, Kinopolis will be hosting the crème de la crèmeof the Polish film industry: young and talented actress Roma Gasiorowska, film director Feliks Falk, cameraman Marcin Koszalka and producer Wlodzimierz Niderhaus. We promise an authentic array of Polish cinema for all Irish cinema lovers." kinopolis.com.pl
