Deadline for Film Fleadh award

Take heed, budding scribes. The deadline for the Galway Film Fleadh Pitching Award has been extended to June 20th. Five shortlisted candidates pitch their ideas to an expert panel and the winner receives €3,000. Interested film-makers need to submit a 500-word story idea to be read by an industry panel. Make sure not to put your name on the page as the entries are read "blind". One recent winner, Will Collins's My Brothers, went rapidly into production and opened the 2010 Fleadh.
