REEL NEWS:The 56th Corona Cork Film Festival wound down last weekend by handing out gongs to a host of talented short film-makers.

The runaway success among the Irish films was Phil Harrison's excellent Even Gods. Telling the story of a middle-aged addict meeting up with his daughter and granddaughter, the picture won best Irish Short and the audience award for most admired domestic short.
