CORRECTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS

Contrary to a report in the editions of June 29th, the late Veronica Guerin was never a student at NIHE (now DCU) and at no stage used her position as a member of the board of NIHE to enjoy special influence. Her studies were in fact undertaken at DIT College of Marketing, not at DCU.
