The installation of the Rev Richard Dadswell as rector of Ballisodare will be presided over by the Right Rev Richard Henderson, Bishop of Tuam, Killala and Achonry. Incorrect details were given in Saturday's Church of Ireland Notes.

In Out of the Midwest on Saturday, the article headed "Legless lizard is breeding in the Burren" quoted Dr Ferdia Marnell of the National Parks and Wildlife Service who is inviting people to contact him about sightings of lizards. His name and e-mail address were incorrect. He can be contacted at fmarnell@ealga.ie

A report in Quidnunc on Saturday said three Labour members of Dublin County Council had been expelled from their group for voting against service charges. The three councillors in fact broke the Labour Party whip by supporting the introduction of service charges.

Mr Gerry Harvey of Cabinteely, former president of the Chartered Institute of Transport, wishes to state that he is not the Gerry Harvey who wrote the letter headed "Public Transport Policy" in yesterday's editions.
