In Out of the Midwest on Saturday, the article headed "Legless lizard is breeding in the Burren" quoted Dr Ferdia Marnell of the National Parks and Wildlife Service who is inviting people to contact him about sightings of lizards. A report in Quidnunc on Saturday said three Labour members of Dublin County Council had been expelled from their group for voting against service charges. The three councillors in fact broke the Labour Party whip by supporting the introduction of service charges.
